Now that the Peyton Manning saga is settled now we went enter the Tebow Saga. What to do with good ole Tim Tebow? There’s one place that makes total sense not even from a sports perspective but from a marketing perspective. That place is none other than New York for the Jets team. Tim Tebow in New York City is a marketing firm’s dream scenario.

Not that the Jets need any more publicity than they already have, but if a guy like Tim Tebow is in a city as prominent as New York you must take advantage. I mean look at what Jeremy Lin and what the whole Linsanity thing did for NYC in the short period that it existed.

Tebowmania would be even crazier and have lot more influence in NYC then Jeremy Lin. If he were to be traded to the Jets and be in New York city several thing will happen. Games would be sold out, ticket would become a hot commodity again, and this would put more money in Jets owner Woody Johnson pockets and as such New York Cities pocket. Who wouldn’t bat at that big fish if you would get those results.

Tebowmania, from a social media perspective, would also be huge event. I mean did you know that he is the second most tweeted person in the world. He get 9,420 tweets per minute. If he’s that popular now imagine how popular he’d be if he was in New York.

It is because of all these factors that it only makes sense for Tebow to be traded to New York. It would revive a Jet team, who had a disappointing year this past football season. It would bring so much money back to the team and in turn the city itself. It might also help New York win another Super Bowl too. What New Yorker doesn’t want that?
